Here are some things that just might interest the nerds of the world (or closet nerds its ok)...

Nintendo 3DS

I have never been much on hand helds, but I have to say that this one is worth taking a look at. It has sliding button on the side that allows you to take it from 2D to 3D without the use of glasses. And it looks to have the support of some third party games (which is unusual for nintendo) such as resident evil and Street fighter. As long as Nintendo doesn't mess it up with their usual stubbornness and complacency for shovelware (crap games that are release quickly and frequently) then I think they will once again be printing their own money. And printing lots of it they will, because this thing retails for $250.

BulletStorm
From the always creative mind of Cliff Bleszinski ("Cliff B"), creator of the Gears of War games, comes BulletStorm. The game features crazy weapons, a glowing blue whip like thing, and Skillshots. Which are rewards for killing badguys in crazy ways such throwing them up in the air and shooting them in the crouch. It is a FPS which is a step in a different direction then the 3rd person aspect of the GOW games, but the action looks to be just as intense if not more so.

Wear it Proud
Nothing says I have great fashion sense and love superheros like a stunning T-shirt. There are hundreds out there to choose from, but I recommend going with the classic, a more retro look. Check out this snazzy number.

I know that it has been awhile, and if anyone ever did read this thing they have stopped checking it long age. But now that I am now done studying for my boards, and the fact that my wife does such a good job at her blog, it makes me want to start up again. So here we go...

As you might be able to tell from my previous post I enjoy a good video game every once in a while, some of my favorite games from this generation of consoles have been Fallout 3, Halo 3, Gears of War 1 & 2, GTA 4, and Bioshock.
These games have been great and they have all pushed the envelope of gaming in one way or another (not to mention they were all very fun and well made games). But as any good gamer knows there is always more great games coming out all the time. While some of the next titles might not be extremely new I am looking forward to playing these titles this summer before I have to go back to studying more than I once thought possible.

A good hangover

Terri and i went to see the new movie The Hangover last night. This movie went well above my expectation and I personally think it was almost as funny as Todd Phillips other movie Old School. While the cast of this movie was not as historic (i.e. Will Ferrell, see last post) the actors did a tremendous job. Allen, played by Zach Galifianakis, was by far the most memorable characters, with his bizzare behavior, outfits, and lines such as, "Its not a purse, it is a satchel, Indiana Jones wears one!" This movie is not as raunchy as most released lately (minus the photos, but I wont spoil anything) but you cannot be too much of a prude and still enoy it. I would highly reconmend this movie to anyone that wants to experience a good hangover for once.

I personally love Will Ferrel, I think that he is currently one of the funniest people out there. And recently on SNL he proved that he still has it! Watch this if you want to witness Ferrel at his best.

Thanks to an email that my wonderful wife sent me, I discovered a really cool website. It is called swagbucks.com.

You earn credits simply for using their search engine (which uses google and ask.com). You can then use those credits at amazon and lots of other places. It seems like it might take awhile to earn much, but hey you would be searching the internet anyways so why not. So earn money and fight the man and what not.

Superwoman

I am not too proud or unaware to know that the only time people read my blog is when they link it from my wife's blog, Sweet Home Alabama (that is what I had always intended anyways). So since you all read my wife's blog you know what a caring, funny, and sweet person she is, but you may not know is how Strong she is. If you read her last few posts then you know how much she has had to go through lately, and she has been so strong through it all. On top of supporting me, working full time, and being a good wife at home, she has gone through a lot of personal struggles with her fertility. I am so proud of her and I don't know how she does it, she must be superwoman!

Study Break

It is finally here, spring break. I don't even mind that I am not going anywhere because it means I get to do my two favorite things. Spending time with my best friend aka my wife and playing video games.

I am also looking forward to reading The Watchmen (which my wonderful wife that puts up with my nerdness bought me) and going to see the movie of the same name that comes out March 6th.

If you are at all a fan of superhero movies like X-men or Spiderman I highly recommend going to see this movie. The same guy that directed 300 also directed this movie. Good director and good story, it sounds like a winner to me.

I know that a lot of people may claim to have a good wife, but I can truly claim to have the most wonderful wife in the world. She is my best friend and the best part of my life. She not only makes me a better person, but everyone around her. She loves to help people and better everyone's life more than I have ever seen from another person. She loves to see people happy, and my favorite thing in the entire world is to see her smiling big. That is definitely the most beautiful thing about her is her smile. And that is saying a lot because everything about her is beautiful, in fact she is the most beautiful women I have ever seen.

Good taste

Not only is my wife wonderful, she also has really good taste. Today just to be nice she surprised me and bought me a video game (my favorite type of gift). That was enough to make my day, but on top of that she picked out a really good game that I really like. It is Grand Theft Auto IV.
